Since 1954 the market of the Prosperidad barrio on López de Hoyos, the district's main shopping street: 32 stalls of butchers, fishmongers, bakers and a herbalist downstairs, plus a tasting area of world-food counters cooking with the market's own produce. It runs its own neighbourhood calendar, from a carnival food route to Día de Muertos.
