Madrid's first public park, created in 1905 on the mayor Alberto Aguilera's initiative: almost 100 hectares of slopes and pines between Moncloa and Príncipe Pío, with the rose garden, the Escuela de Cerámica and the Templo de Debod at its southern tip. Locals use it for running, picnics and sunset walks.
