One of Milan's oldest public gardens, 1.2 hectares that were the grounds of the Collegio della Guastalla, founded in 1555 and opened to the public in 1939. Inside are a 17th-century Baroque fish pond on two terraces, a shrine with terracotta statues and a neoclassical temple by Cagnola. It is a quiet neighbourhood garden; visitors walk past the gate on the way to the Duomo.
