Franck Audoux's original Cravan, a tiny 1911 Art Nouveau cafe with faience walls, Thonet chairs and painted glass, deep in the quiet 16th. The short list of sharp classics, like the Yellow (gin, gentian, yellow Chartreuse, lemon), made it one of Paris's most loved small bars.

Good to know
- The counter takes only two people; take a table or the 20-seat terrace and you can still talk to the bartenders.
- Order a gilda or the oysters with the Yellow or the Troca, an Americano-style aperitif served only here.
- Do not confuse it with the large four-floor Cravan in Saint-Germain.
