Created in 1778 by Carmontelle for the Duke of Chartres as a garden of 'all times and all places', it keeps some of its follies: a small Egyptian pyramid, Corinthian columns, the water-lily pond and a bridge modelled on the Rialto. Paris je t'aime calls it one of the most elegant parks in the city.
