Karel Truksa's 1930 modernist church of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, its tower of over 30 m, co-conceived by Pavel Janák, styled as a ship's lantern, a lighthouse 'guiding to the harbours of eternity'; it was one of the first Prague buildings in prestressed concrete and a listed monument since 2022. It is a working neighbourhood building with a theatre (Studio Mana), a columbarium and flats, so locals use it every week while visitors walk past nothing like it in the centre.
