A shop 'stopped in time' on Via Galuppi for the island's own biscuits: bussola buranello, esse di Burano, quadrotti del doge and peverini. Giorgio Senigallia, Carmelina Palmisano's husband, started here as a bread delivery boy and was the first to sell bussolai all year instead of only at Easter, helped by the small S-shaped esse.

Good to know
- Buy esse to dunk: the S shape was made for dipping in a glass of sweet wine at the end of a meal (VeneziaToday, 2025).
- Try a peverin too, the peppered biscuit once given out in bacari with an ombra.
- Open daily with a lunch break, 12:30-14:30 (Google hours).
