One of the oldest addresses on Murano, on Campo Santo Stefano facing the campiello, run by host Gabriele Masiol, known as 'Lele il Rosso'. 2night calls it an institution for locals and visitors alike, and the dish only found here is moeche in saor: soft-shell lagoon crabs in sweet-and-sour onions.

Good to know
- In moeche season (October-November and April-May) ask for them fried or in saor; they sell out fast (2night, 2019 and 2022).
- Start with the boiled-fish antipasto (canoce, cappe lunghe, folpetti) and the sarde in saor; DoctorWine also singles out the baccala mantecato.
- Drink the house wine, 'El Bianco de Lele' (a pinot grigio) or the red cabernet franc, which Lele calls wine for Venetians. Lunch is the main service; Google shows dinner only Friday and Saturday.
