The showpiece of Red Vienna's 1920s baths programme, opened in 1926 and named after Amalie Pölzer, the first woman elected to the city council from Favoriten. The Art Deco pool hall with its ceramic tiling and once-retractable glass roof is still a working municipal pool where Favoriten swims for the price of a city ticket.
