The café carries the name of Dommayer's Casino, opened in the 1830s, where Johann Strauss father and son and Josef Lanner performed; today it is run by the Oberlaa Konditorei with its own cakes. Hietzing locals use the big garden for Sunday coffee a few minutes from the Schönbrunn side gate.
