A private museum run by Koç University's AKMED, opened in 1996 in a restored 19th-century Antalya house and the church of St George (Aya Yorgi) next door. The house shows scenes of old Antalya life; the church, with its Karamanlidika (Turkish in Greek letters) inscription over the door, holds Çanakkale ceramics and changing exhibitions. Most visitors stay on the main lanes and miss it.
