Opened in 1912, 'El Sanber' is Villa Crespo's café-club: the barrio's biggest billiard hall plus ping-pong, table football and card tables. Bandoneonist Paquita Bernardo and writer Leopoldo Marechal sat here; today it is where neighbours meet for a game, a beer and a truco hand.
