A neoclassical chapel by Fontaine, Napoleon's architect, built by Louis XVIII on the former Madeleine cemetery where Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette were buried after the guillotine. Inaugurated in 1826 in the presence of Charles X, it stands a few minutes' walk from Saint-Lazare and the Madeleine.
