Le Bonbon calls it the last singing bistrot in Paris: since 1994 Joseph Pantaleo has served traditional French food on the heights of Belleville while accordion, barrel organ and singers revive Piaf, Fréhel and Chevalier, and the whole room sings along. The Ville de Paris gave him a medal for his contribution to the city's culture.
