The second-largest church in Paris, with Delacroix's murals of 1855-1861, including 'Jacob Wrestling with the Angel', in the first chapel on the right. Its Great Organ, played by Widor and Dupré, is one of the most significant in the world, and an elaborate 18th-century gnomon, an astronomical meridian, was built inside the church.
