A 4,000 m2 garden in the old grounds of the Hôtel de Saint-Aignan, reached only through a dead-end alley behind the Centre Pompidou. Its chestnut tree grew from a shoot of the one Anne Frank saw from her Amsterdam hiding place, planted in 2007; neighbours come to read in the orchard at the back.
