Good to know
- Look at the painters on Place du Tertre, then walk on to Rue des Saules, Rue de l'Abreuvoir and Avenue Junot with Villa Léandre, a hidden cul-de-sac of town houses.
- The Clos Montmartre's 2,000 vines make at most 1,000 bottles a year; the harvest festival is held every October.
- Lonely Planet suggests the Promotrain or Montmartrain (about an hour round trip) for visitors with limited mobility.
