Founded in 1935 in the old village of Vallecas, this zinc-counter churrería makes 1,000 to 2,000 churros a day and about forty litres of home-made chocolate. Its own speciality is the rana: porra dough fried in two pieces and finished with anís, cinnamon and sugar, made here since the 1950s and found nowhere else in Madrid.
