A Belle Époque corner bistrot near the Porte de Clignancourt with a curved copper zinc, Art Deco stained glass, mosaic floor and tarnished mirrors that Time Out calls miraculously preserved. Film crews love it (Tarantino shot scenes of Inglourious Basterds here), but it is a neighbourhood place: Thomazeau describes office workers, young people from the nearby HLM and locals sharing the room.

Good to know
- Visitors miss it because it is far from the sights; combine it with the Saint-Ouen flea market.
- Time Out praises generous, fairly priced plates (tartare, big salads) and the café gourmand; the terrace is covered and heated in winter.
